Dear parents,

Thank-you for your understanding in us having to close the school over the last few days, especially for the late notice this morning. In situations like this, I appreciate that whatever decIsIon I take it will not be popular with everyone so I apologise for any inconvenience that these closures have caused but any decision I make is always in the best interests of the pupils, especially around their safety. I have also got the safety of my staff team to consider, some of whom have to travel a distance to work.

As a result of the school closure, some concerts have had to be re arranged so below is a list of when the concerts will be taking place.

Wednesday 13th December

Reception concerts

The 9.15am performance has been rescheduled to 9.15am on Monday 18th December - this is because reception have not had chance to try costumes on yet and they won't have practised since Friday!

The 2pm concert will go ahead as planned on Wednesday 13th December

Thursday 14th December

Year 2 concerts will go ahead as planned.

Friday 15th December

Postponed Year 1 concerts from today will go ahead at 9.15am and 1.45pm. Please note earlier time for the afternoon concert.

Tickets purchased for the postponed concert will just be transferred to the new dates. Where possible we hope it will be a smooth transition to the new times for parents but we do understand that in exceptional circumstances this may not be possible. If you have a genuine problem with the new time, please see the ladies in the office tomorrow morning who will do what they can to help.
