Today the whole school celebrated the Queens 90th birthday in style with a garden party picnic. All week the children have been learning about the Queen and Royal family, as well as making flags and crowns in preparation for our party today. The children all looked fabulous in their party clothes and had chance to learn a dance with Katie our Dance instructor and a new song with Mrs Westley, our music teacher, in the hall before the picnic. On the field we all enjoyed crisps, cakes, biscuits and juice whilst waving our flags to the party music. The children had chance to have a play on the field and show us their new dance moves before hometime. A wonderful time was had by all! We are sure the Queen would have loved it!
