Reception Curriculum

Our topic this half term is 'Oh I do like to be beside the sea!' Please see the topic plan and homework ideas at the bottom of this page to help your child at home.

Other ways to help support your child

Encourage your child to dress and undress independently, turning clothes the right way.

Continue to practise reading red words.

Encourage your child to write words / sentences by sounding out sounds they can hear. Do not expect all words to be spelt correctly at this stage e.g. rocket - rocit
