School Dinner and Milk

School Dinners

All our hot meals are provided for us by Warwickshire County Caterers. A copy of the lunch menu is available  by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page :-

All Infant School Children recieve a free school lunch, however it is still important to apply for 'Free School Meals' through Warwickshire County Council if you are entitled to do so as this enables our school to claim vital 'Pupil Premium' funding.

Pupil Premium is additional funding given to maintained schools in England to raise attainment. For more information click here.

If you complete an application and your child is entitled to 'Free School Meals', we will support your child further by providing the following :

  • £25 Asda voucher towards uniform basics

  • Free school milk every day - after your childs 5th birthday this would normally be chargeable

  • Free after school clubs

  • Extra support within school related to Pupil Premium funding

You can claim 'Free School Meals' for your child if you receive one of the qualifying benefits listed below :

  • Income Support
  • Income-Based Job Seeker’s Allowance (JSA)

  • Income-Related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)

  • Guarantee Element of State Pension Credit

  • Both Income-Based and Contribution-Based JSA/ESA if you receive the same amount for both. You should also qualify if you receive both but the Income-based amount is greater, but not if the contribution-based amount is greater

  • Families who are awarded Child Tax Credit and have an annual income, as assessed by HMRC, not in excess of £16,190 are also eligible to claim free school meals providing there is no entitlement to Working Tax Credit (unless in respect of a 4-week ‘run-on’).

The online checking system only confirms or denies your eligibility to claim free school meals: it does not give us any other information.

When your eligibility has been confirmed and your application processed, you will be sent an email confirming eligibility. The school will also receive notification of your child’s application.

The online checking system will continuously check your eligibility status and inform you and the school of any changes.

You can apply online by clicking here or apply by telephone on 01926 742060 or complete the Registration Free School Meals form which is available from the school office.
